NYCMC Foster Care operates with one mission: To ensure that Muslim foster care children are placed into Muslim homes.

NYCMC Foster Care operates with one mission: To ensure that Muslim foster care children are placed into Muslim homes. We are currently an official liaison with NYC Foster Care agencies and also have direct communication with the NYC Administration for Children's services. We have used this status to help Muslim Foster Care children locally as well as assist during refugee crises.

The NYCMC Foster Care initiative also provides a platform for the Muslim community to become trained foster care parents as well as train the various NYC foster care agencies on cultural sensitivity. By holding these training sessions, we bridge the gap between the foster care agencies and the Muslim community, thus helping more Muslim children get into Muslim homes.
