NYCMC UPLIFT PROGRAM
NYCMC Uplift Program is dedicated towards bridging the gaps, fostering effective communication, and removing stigma surrounding mental health in the Muslim community. We provide community members with the tools to support children’s social, emotional, and academic well-being and development through intentionally curated workshops offered by experts in the mental health and childhood development fields.

QURAN MEMORIZATION PROGRAM (QMP) by Kawkab Institute
The Prophet ﷺ said: “It will be said to the companion of the Quran: Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.”
QMP is a Quran memorization (hidfh) program for children ages 7 to 15, taught by Imam Usama Kawkab and Shaykh Nouh Kawkab
Time: Monday to Friday, from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M.

SATURDAY CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (SCP)
Saturday Children's Program is a program for boys & girls ages 5-15 from Beginner to Advanced Levels. Time: Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 2P.M. The classes are being taught by dedicated and engaging teachers.

QURAN WITH TAJWEED
Quran with Tajweed Classes is a FREE Community program that is held on
Wednesdays at 7:45 P.M. and taught by Imam Nouh Kawkab. Open for brothers and sisters.

Masjid 'Eesa ibn Maryam in collaboration with FKAD Institute, provides a program for reverts, called New Leaf, which is held once a month.
The program aims to build the foundation for new Muslims in the basics of worship, as well as providing a safe zone for discussion of the varied social issues that often come along with being a new revert.

OPEN GYM
A free community program that gives the community access to our NBA-sized gymnasium for sports and recreation. Held weekly on Fridays, from 5:30 PM-8 PM. (Alternating weekly for brothers and sisters).

DAILY PRAYERS
All five prayers are held daily at Masjid 'Eesa Ibn Maryam. Imam Usama and Shaykh Nouh Kawkab lead prayers in our spacious prayer hall. With his calming and beautiful recitation, Masha Allah, you will truly focus on and enjoy your prayer. A calendar with prayer times is updated monthly and
available online. In addition, notifications are made if prayers are combined for a legal reason, such as inclement weather.
JUMUAH PRAYER
Salatul-Jumuah (Friday Prayer) is held every Friday at 1:00 P.M. at NYCMC Hall (gym). Our dynamic khateebs speak about varied and engaging topics related to Islam and its application in our lives. We also have spacious accommodation for sisters in the masjid attending Friday prayer.
RAMADAN IFTAR AND TARAWIH
During Ramadan, Iftar is provided monthly for the community. We aim to highlight the multicultural diversity we have as Muslims, and have foods from many different regions of the world throughout the month. Iftar at Masjid 'Eesa is a unique experience, and a fantastic way to bond with the community and make some new friends!
Tarawih prayer is led by Imam Nouh Kawkab and Imam Houd Kawkab. Every night, a short enlightening talk is given. The Quran recitation is completed in Ramadan. Suhoor is also provided in the last 10 nights of Ramadan along with i'tikaf.
YEARLY PRAYERS
Both 'Eid-ul-Adha and 'Eid-up-Fitr prayers are held at Masjid 'Eesa ibn Maryam. It’s a festive community affair, with refreshments, gifts for children in the community, and a khutbah delivered by our beloved khateebs.
Masjid 'Eesa also collects zakat-ul-fitr. In addition, we invite our reverts to a welcoming meal at one of the homes in our community, to help strengthen their bond with the community.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
An after-school program that is open to both private/public school students. This program has homework help, tutoring, technology, art and more.
