Instructors Bio

You will be assisted by esteemed Quran reciters and knowledgeable instructors.

Usama Kawkab has over 20 years of experience as an Imam, instructor, and coach with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the UAE. 

Throughout his career, he has served as an Imam at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque 

and the Martyrs of the Armed Forces mosque in the United Arab Emirates. 

He also worked as a coach and instructor at the UAE Central Rehabilitation Center, where he provided religious education and mentorship.

He has received several international awards for his excellence in Quranic studies.

Currently, Usama serves as the Director and Imam at NYCMC, where he continues to lead and guide the community with dedication and expertise.

Nouh Kawkab profoundly touches souls with his heavenly recitation and heartwarming classes that resonate with all who experience them. His unique ability to convey the beauty of the Quran captivates listeners and inspires deeper faith engagement among students.

At just 15, Nouh memorized the entire Quran, showcasing his dedication to Islamic teachings. He then furthered his education with extensive courses in Belief and Jurisprudence, studying under esteemed UAE scholars, which enriched his understanding of Islamic principles.

Possessing multiple ijazahs in Hafs recitation, Nouh's expertise is evident. He has also won 1st place multiple times at prestigious UAE national competitions, including the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. These achievements reflect his commitment to sharing Quranic teachings with the community.
